Artist promotional site – personality-driven branding
Abstract
This project focused on designing a responsive promotional website for the artist Lola Bunny, translating a distinct personal brand into an interactive digital experience. The site emphasizes identity, tone, and visual storytelling over traditional promotional structures.
Problem
Music artist websites often rely on standardized templates that prioritize links and media embeds but fail to communicate personality or brand identity. For an artist with a strong visual and tonal presence, this approach limits audience connection.
Design Goals
Capture a distinct artistic identity through design
Create a memorable visual tone rather than a generic layout
Maintain responsiveness without diluting style
Concept Development
The design approach focused on building a cohesive aesthetic system that reflects the artist’s personality. Rather than treating visuals as decoration, the interface acts as an extension of the artist’s brand.
Experience Design
The site uses a streamlined structure that balances exploration with clarity. Content is presented in a way that highlights key visuals and media while avoiding cluttered navigation.
Technical Implementation
Content animation on manual scroll for visual stimulation
Custom layout handling for visual-heavy content
Responsive adaptations to preserve design integrity
Outcome
The result is a promotional platform that functions as both a website and a brand expression, allowing users to engage with the artist visually and emotionally.
